Who Wants To Live Forever?

Did you know that eternal life was part of God’s intended plan for you from the beginning?  Jeremiah 29:11″For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope”

You can have eternal life through faith (trust, believe, hope, love) in Jesus Christ. You see it all started in the Garden of Eden when Adam ate from the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil.  Today, our “knowledge and education” is what keeps us from truly understanding God’s ways.  It was God’s intention for us to live and fellowship with Him in love, peace and happiness for all time in the Garden of Eden.  Why do you think God made a Tree of Life, He did not need it, so He created it for man, knowing that He made us out of dirt, clay and stuff He had lying around.  LOL

Genesis 3:22″And the Lord God said, “The man has now become like one of us, knowing good and evil. He must not be allowed to reach out his hand and take also from the tree of life and eat, and live forever.” 24 “After he drove the man out, he placed on the east side of the Garden of Eden cherubim and a flaming sword flashing back and forth to guard the way to the tree of life”

Proverbs 3:18″wisdom She is a tree of life to those who take hold of her; those who hold her fast will be blessed”

Proverbs 13:12″Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a longing fulfilled is a tree of life”

Revelations 2:7 “Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To the one who is VICTORIOUS, I will give the right to eat from the tree of life, which is in the paradise of God”

God made the Tree of Life for man to be able to live forever. When we sinned by DISOBEYING God, we lost the Garden of Eden and the Tree of Life. But God gives us Wisdom in His Torah/Holy Bible that provides us a guide-book on living in a way that is pleasing to God.  The bible tells us to help other people, tell the truth, work hard for your food, do not steal, do not commit adultery, respect each other’s possessions. and gives us detailed instructions on how to live obediently. God sent His son, Jesus Christ, to be an example of the bible (Word of God) so we can see how to live an obedient life through faith and love for God and create in us a desire to want to be more like Him. To honor God with our lives in humility so that we bring God all the honor, glory and praise. When we couple wisdom with the Hope found in Jesus (Yeshua), we can be victorious and eat from the Tree of Life.

Whose Image Are You Made In?

Image is such a major part of our culture today that it has become interwoven within our own identity.  We place values on our careers and position, fashions and cars we drive, use plastic surgery to “enhance” our natural beauty and do so many other things that we feel help us become who we think we are.  But do you know whose image you were made in?

In reality, God created mankind in His own image and we had a chance to walk and talk with God in the Garden of Eden.  When Adam eat of the fruit, then Satan was able to take us away from God and the peace and beauty found in the Garden of Eden.  Consider God your Father whose YOU were separated (stolen) from Him and the enemy is trying to steal, kill and destroy you, the sons and daughters of the King.  If you look in the mirror and see your self as the heir to the King or as the person that no one wants, can you see how Satan can rob you of your inheritance?

Because mankind fell from grace into a world of deceits and lies about who our true Father really is.  You were made to be a son and daughter of the most high King of all Kingdoms.  Because we were stolen from God by Lucifer/Devil/Satan, God decided to rescue us from our captor and He made a way home for us through Christ Jesus.  This doorway allows us to enter into the Kingdom of Heaven, through faith in God’s grace and cannot be accomplished by our own efforts (works).  Therefore God made it so that we do not need to do anything but receive salvation (John 3:16).   Because You belong to God the creator who made us in His image, it was God who restored our souls.

Genesis 1:27″So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them” So Jesus came to show us how to come home to our creator.    Matthew 22:19″Show Me the tax money. So they brought Him a denarius. 20 And He said to them, “Whose image and inscription is this?”21 They said to Him, “Caesar’s.” And He said to them, “Render therefore to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and to God the things that are God’s.”

However, it is your responsibility as a child Ambassador for the Kingdom, to not embarrass your Father and to obey His word.  Grace does not give us a license to sin and do what ever we want.  When you claim to be the heir to the Kingdom and do things unbecoming to God’s character, you create confusion about your Father’s reputation.  Since it is your choice to obey by your trust, belief, hope and faith placed in God or you can be disobedient.  If you disobey, you leave a loving Father no choice but to punish you because He wants you to stop.   If you decline His offer to come home, then you choose your own destination of Heaven or Hell.

Treasure Hunter or Contentment

Many of us today want to live a lifestyle filled with self gratification such as the newest fanciest cars, big houses, silk suits and the finest in jewelry.  Even to the point we max-out our credit cards, have no money in the bank and continually unhappy with our current state.  We have even coined the term Heaven on Earth.

Jesus said in Matthew 6:2″For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also” SO when you treasure the word of God, the Sacrifice of Jesus, then you heart will be toward the things of God. In Mark 12:29 Jesus answered him, “The first of all the commandments is: ‘Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one. 30 And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your sou

l, with all your mind, and with all your strength. This is the first commandment. 31 And the second, like it, is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’There is no other commandment greater than these.” Therefore if you love things of this world more than God, then your treasure is in the wrong place. 1 Timothy 6:10″For the love of money (idols, job, spouse, kids) is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows”
Today you can be consumed with greed and discontent, always seeking more.  You can learn to be content with who you are and what you have been blessed with.  To be happy and content and live life within your own means to support the lifestyle.
Matthew 13:22 “The seed falling among the thorns refers to someone who hears the word, but the worries of this life and the deceitfulness of wealth choke the word, making it unfruitful. Mark 4:19 “but the worries of this life, the deceitfulness of wealth and the desires for other things come in and choke the word, making it unfruitful”
Hebrews 3:13
But encourage one another daily, as long as it is called “Today,” so that none of you may be hardened by sin’s deceitfulness.

Are You Inspecting the Fruits?

The bible tells us not to judge others but we are to be fruit inspectors. Matthew 7:19 “Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 therefore by their fruits you will know them. 21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven” So, what are these fruits? 1 John 4:1″Beloved, do n

ot believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world. 2 By this you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God, 3 and every spirit that does not confess that[a] Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God” For a person who claims to be Christian will show these fruits toward God and Mankind Gal 5:22″But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long suffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control”
FOR A CHURCH must produce discipleship fruits Eph 4:11 “And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, 12 for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ” The church teachings should Glorify God not the pastor, comes right out of the bible in context, is spirit led in worship and in service and the church is raising up from its own congregation new pastors, evangelists, missionaries, teachers and apostles (church planters).
Today, you are aware of the spiritual fruits found in men and organizations, now start looking for fruits! To God be the Glory

Work and Teamwork…yeah right?

Work can be difficult, people can be hard on you but remember this in the back of your mind, God is always watching and YOU are a child of the most high King. Your treatment maybe unfair but He is proud of how you are handling it. SO how should you handle it? Ephesians 6:5″Slaves, obey your earthly masters with respect and fear, and with sincerity of heart, just as you would obey Christ. 6 Obey
them not only to win their favor when their eye is on you, but as slaves of Christ, doing the will of God from your heart. 7 Serve wholeheartedly, as if you were serving the Lord, not people, 8 because you know that the Lord will reward each one for whatever good they do, whether they are slave or free” AND IF YOUR A CHRISTIAN BUSINESS OWNER, YOU are responsible for your employees Eph 6:9″And masters, treat your slaves in the same way. Do not threaten them, since you know that he who is both their Master and yours is in heaven, and there is no favoritism with him” IN ALL THINGS GIVE THANKS TO GOD!

Firm Footing Is Essential To Victory

Every sport like golf, basketball, football, soccer, baseball, etc, has proper footing as a critical component for consistency in victory. So why do we believe we can walk in the Christian faith without our steps ordered by God? Psalm 94:18“When I said, “My foot is slipping,” your unfailing love, LORD, supported me. When anxiety was great within me, your consolation brought me joy.” Psalm 37:23″T
he steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way” Job 14:16″Surely then you will count my steps but not keep track of my sin” Proverbs 14:15″The simple believe anything, but the prudent give thought to their steps” Ephesians 6:15″ (ARMOR) and, as shoes for your feet, having put on the readiness given by the gospel of peace” VICTORY OVER SIN AND DEATH IS IN YOUR PATH, WALK IT OUT!

Prodigal Son

Jesus us tells us the story of the prodigal son to help us understand what it means to be separated from our Father (God) and His patient, loving attitude toward us. So that while we are still living in sin, God continues to love us FIRST! You see God never stopped loving you and it was our own choices that caused us to end up in the “pig pens” of life. As we sit in our mess, the Holy Spirit co
nvicts us of where we are and reminds you that God will take you back. When we get up and we turn from our pig pen to go home to the Father (REPENTANCE). Our Father is waiting for us, arms wide open, because HE still loves us and He replaces our filthy rags with new clothes of majesty (washed white as snow in Christ Jesus blood sacrifice). God places a ring (seal of love and inheritance) on us and then He prepares a feast for those who were lost but found their way home (wedding feast of the Lamb).

The next time your hear an inner voice telling you that you have gone to far, you are too bad to be loved by God or that no one loves you, DON’T LISTEN TO THE LIES. Jesus told us how God loves you by stretching out His arms and dying for you.
Luke 15:11 Jesus continued: “There was a man who had two sons. 12 The younger one said to his father, ‘Father, give me my share of the estate.’ So he divided his property between them. 13 “Not long after that, the younger son got together all he had, set off for a distant country and there squandered his wealth in wild living. 14 After he had spent everything, there was a severe famine in that whole country, and he began to be in need. 15 So he went and hired himself out to a citizen of that country, who sent him to his fields to feed pigs. 16 He longed to fill his stomach with the pods that the pigs were eating, but no one gave him anything. 17 “When he came to his senses, he said, ‘How many of my father’s hired servants have food to spare, and here I am starving to death! 18 I will set out and go back to my father and say to him: Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you. 19 I am no longer worthy to be called your son; make me like one of your hired servants.’ 20 So he got up and went to his father. “But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and was filled with compassion for him; he ran to his son, threw his arms around him and kissed him. 21 “The son said to him, ‘Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you. I am no longer worthy to be called your son.’ 22 “But the father said to his servants, ‘Quick! Bring the best robe and put it on him. Put a ring on his finger and sandals on his feet. 23 Bring the fattened calf and kill it. Let’s have a feast and celebrate. 24 For this son of mine was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.’ So they began to celebrate. 25 “Meanwhile, the older son was in the field. When he came near the house, he heard music and dancing. 26 So he called one of the servants and asked him what was going on. 27 ‘Your brother has come,’ he replied, ‘and your father has killed the fattened calf because he has him back safe and sound.’ 28 “The older brother became angry and refused to go in. So his father went out and pleaded with him. 29 But he answered his father, ‘Look! All these years I’ve been slaving for you and never disobeyed your orders. Yet you never gave me even a young goat so I could celebrate with my friends. 30 But when this son of yours who has squandered your property with prostitutes comes home, you kill the fattened calf for him!’ 31 “‘My son,’ the father said, ‘you are always with me, and everything I have is yours. 32 But we had to celebrate and be glad, because this brother of yours was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.’” GOD IS WAITING FOR YOU WITH OPEN ARMS,REPENT, TURN FROM YOUR MESS AND COME HOME!
