What gift do you have to share?

giftDuring the month of December many of you celebrated Chanukah or the supernatural birth of the Jewish Messiah. If you did, you may have received a gift. Throughout your life you’ve received many gifts. Some of these gifts were given to you by God so you can share them with other people. What gift has God given you to share with other people?

(Matt. 10:8) Freely you have received; freely give.

(2 Cor. 1:6) if we are comforted, it is for your comfort

[You can substitute the word “comfort” with any gift you’ve received from God. Whatever God gives you, you need to share with others.]

Worthy Is The Lamb (Yeshua Our Salvation)

God is a HOLY God who loves His children but sin has separated us from His holiness and we were doomed to eternal life separated from God. Knowing that there was no way back to God, He sent His spirit to conceive the Son of Man (Jesus) as our redeemer to save us from hell and restore us to God and eternal life in heaven. All Jesus did was walk a perfectly Holy life without sin and became sin for us at the crucifixion. He died was buried and raised again unto all Honor, Glory, Power and Praise and sits at the right hand of God the Father. Jesus you alone are worthy of our praises and grateful hearts for saving a wicked wretched man like me. I will bow before you and worship you who is worthy and will love and adore you for all time because I am so thankful for salvation. May I share your love with all mankind for your glory and honor my King, the lamb of God. John 1:29″The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and said, “Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!” Revelation 7:17
For the Lamb at the center of the throne will be their shepherd; ‘he will lead them to springs of living water.’ ‘And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.’ Revelations 5:11 Then I looked and heard the voice of many angels, numbering thousands upon thousands, and ten thousand times ten thousand. They encircled the throne and the living creatures and the elders. 12 In a loud voice they were saying:

“Worthy is the Lamb, who was slain,
to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength
and honor and glory and praise!”

13 Then I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and on the sea, and all that is in them, saying:

“To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb
be praise and honor and glory and power,
for ever and ever!”

Are you part of a team?

teamworkCollaboration (teamwork) means “I need you” No one can accomplish anything by themselves. We all need to work with other people if we want to enjoy success.

Sometimes you have to take a risk

OutOnLimbRisk means you must go out on a limb if you want to pick some good fruit. (Apply this where needed in your life.)

How does God feel about you?

NeverLeaveYou(1 Sam 12:22) For the LORD will not abandon you (His people) on account of His great name, because the LORD has been pleased to make you a people for Himself.

Receive this word of encouragement from God. He will never leave you or forsake you. God never got stuck with you. He chose you and wants to be with you. You bring God pleasure!

The Light Grows

At a Chanukah Party Saturday night and I shared a few thoughts about the Menorah. On the first night of Chanukah we lit 1 candle. Then we lit 2 candles on the 2nd night. Finally we lit 8 candles on the last night. As we did this we saw the light increase every night. Our world is getting darker and this means that we need more light today than we did in the past.
There are two things we can do to increase the light in our world. First we need to stay clean and pure in our relationship with God so Messiah’s light can brightly shine from within us. Second we need to share our faith in Messiah with other people so there will be more “candles” shining in our world.

Out with the trash (sin)

(1 Sam 7:4) So the sons of Israel removed (got rid of) the Baals and the Ashtaroth and served the Lord alone.

On the Feast of Dedication we need to re-dedicate ourselves to the Lord. This might include doing like the Israelites did. First we get rid of the “sin” or throw it out with the trash. After we do this we can serve God alone, or give Him our exclusive attention.
