Satan wants you not to believe in God

Satan’s biggest deception is getting mankind to NOT BELIEVE in God.

So that we believe God (Elohim) is not real and He is just a fable or myth made up by a primative culture, alien visitors or just an imaginary friend made up by the weak minded.  If there is no God, then Jesus (Yeshua) was never sent as our savior to restore us to God and our rightful place in heaven for all eternity.  IF there is no hell or eternal damnation then there is no devil, no heaven and ultimately there is no consequences for our sins which separates us from God.  IF there is no God, no hell or eternal separation from God, then there is no need for a savior thus, Jesus died on the cross for nothing .  Then if we believe that mankind can create our own set of moral codes to live by that does not hurt others we are good people.

THE BIBLE TELLS US CLEARLY THERE IS A GOD, A SAVIOR, A HEAVEN AND ETERNAL LIFE, EITHER SPENT WITH GOD OR FOREVER SEPARATED FROM HIS LOVE.  THEREFORE  WHOSEVER BELIEVES IN GOD CAN BE SAVED THROUGH YESHUA (JESUS CHRIST) AND OPERATE IN THE FULL POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT TO HEAL, DELIVER AND RAISE UP.

Genesis 15:6 Abram believed the LORD, and he credited it to him as righteousness.

Exodus 4:5 “This,” said the LORD, “is so that they may believe that the LORD, the God of their fathers—the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob—has appeared to you.”

But if you can do anything, take pity on us and help us.”  23 “‘If you can’?” said Jesus. “Everything is possible for one who believes.”  24 Immediately the boy’s father exclaimed, “I do believe; help me overcome my unbelief!”  25 When Jesus saw that a crowd was running to the scene, he rebuked the impure spirit. “You deaf and mute spirit,” he said, “I command you, come out of him and never enter him again.”  26 The spirit shrieked, convulsed him violently and came out. The boy looked so much like a corpse that many said, “He’s dead.” 27 But Jesus took him by the hand and lifted him to his feet, and he stood up.

Well eternal separation from God is REAL.

Matthew 5:22 “But I (Jeus) say to you that whoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment. And whoever says to his brother, ‘Raca!’ shall be in danger of the council. But whoever says, ‘You fool!’ shall be in danger of hell fire.”

Psalm 9:17″The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God.”

Mark 9:43″If your hand causes you to sin, cut it off. It is better for you to enter into life maimed, rather than having two hands, to go to hell, into the fire that shall never be quenched”

Jude 1:20″20 But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, 21 keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. 22 And on some have compassion, making a distinction; 23 but others save with fear, pulling them out of the fires (of hell), hating even the garment defiled by the flesh.”

Revelation 20:10″The devil, who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where the beast and the false prophet are. And they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.”

Proverbs 27:20″Hell and destruction are never full; so the eyes of man are never satisfied”

But God made a way for us when there was no other way:  JESUS DIED SO WE CAN ESCAPE FROM HELL AND GIVES US ETERNAL LIFE TO WHOSO EVER BELIEVES... John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
John 14:6″Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. “

The Road To Hell is Paved With Good Intentions

The road to hell is paved with good intentions…  Nicodemus was a good man who kept all the laws and was good to people and did not hurt anyone.  Did not steal, kill or cheat on his wife.  Yet Jesus said your good works are not enough to enter heaven.

Listen to their conversation recorded all those years ago but still applies today… JOHN 3:1 “There was a man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews. 2 This man came to Jesus by night and said to Him, “Rabbi, we know that You are a teacher come from God; for no one can do these signs that You do unless God is with him.” 3 Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” 
4 Nicodemus said to Him, “How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother’s womb and be born?” 5 Jesus answered, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. 6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7 Do not marvel that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’ 8 The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit.” 9 Nicodemus answered and said to Him, “How can these things be?” 10 Jesus answered and said to him, “Are you the teacher of Israel, and do not know these things? 11 Most assuredly, I say to you, We speak what We know and testify what We have seen, and you do not receive Our witness. 12 If I have told you earthly things and you do not believe, how will you believe if I tell you heavenly things? 13 No one has ascended to heaven but He who came down from heaven, that is, the Son of Man who is in heaven. 14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up, 15 that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. 16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. 17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.  18 “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19 And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20 For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. 21 But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God.”

Mankind is born unto this world and we live with a choice of Heaven or hell.  At birth in the flesh, we begin a path that is carnal and worldly that leads to hell because our sin separates us from a Holy God (Elohim).  So God in His grace and mercy made a way when there was no way through Jesus (Yeshua) so we could turn around (Repent) and choose the narrow way that leads to heaven.

Proverbs 15:11″Hell and Destruction are before the LORD; So how much more the hearts of the sons of men.”

Proverbs 15:24″The way of life winds upward for the wise, That he may turn away from hell below.

Matthew 7:13“Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. 14 Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.” 

Matthew 5:29 “If your right eye causes you to sin, pluck it out and cast it from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell.”

Matthew 10:28 “And do not fear those who kill the body (men, satan) but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him (God, Elohim) who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.”

2 Peter 2:4 For if God did not spare the angels who sinned, but cast them down to hell and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved for judgment; 5 and did not spare the ancient world, but saved Noah, one of eight people, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood on the world of the ungodly; 6 and turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah into ashes, condemned them to destruction, making them an example to those who afterward would live ungodly; 7 and delivered righteous Lot, who was oppressed by the filthy conduct of the wicked 8 (for that righteous man, dwelling among them, tormented his righteous soul from day to day by seeing and hearing their lawless deeds)— 9 then the Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptations and to reserve the unjust under punishment for the day of judgment, 10 and especially those who walk according to the flesh in the lust of uncleanness and despise authority. They are presumptuous, self-willed. They are not afraid to speak evil of dignitaries, 11 whereas angels, who are greater in power and might, do not bring a reviling accusation against them before the Lord.” 

BUT THERE IS GOOD NEWS… JESUS (YESHUA) SAVES!

 

Sin Creates In Us a Harden Heart

Sin creates a cold heart that lacks compassion.  The more we steal the less we respect others property.  The more we do drugs the less we care about responsibilities.  The more we use pornography the less we see the quality of relationships.  Sin continues to hardens the hearts through hurt, pride, bitterness, and addictions.  A simple act turns into bigger and more perverse acts down the road (adultery, murder, stealing, covetousness) and eventually gains control over the individual, thus placing us into captivity to our sins.

Matthew 13:15 “For this people’s heart has become calloused; they hardly hear with their ears, and they have closed their eyes. Otherwise they might see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their hearts and turn, and I would heal them.’”  Matthew 19:8 “Jesus replied, “Moses permitted you to divorce your wives because your hearts were hard. But it was not this way from the beginning.” Mark 10:5 ““It was because your hearts were hard that Moses wrote you this law,” Jesus replied.” Ephesians 4:18″They are darkened in their understanding and separated from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them due to the hardening of their hearts.” Hebrews 3:8 “do not harden your hearts as you did in the rebellion, during the time of testing in the wilderness” 

GOOD NEWS, GOD HEALS THE HARDEN HEART BACK INTO A HEART OF COMPASSION FOR OTHERS.

Ezekiel 36: 26 I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. 27 And I will put my Spirit in you and move you to follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws.

PRIDE FILLS OUR CHURCHES

The more things change, the more they stay the same.  Many ministries today are falling apart, splitting over difference in opinions and are no longer productive for God.   Why?  Because of pride and selfishness leads to rebellion.  Pride is an inflated sense of ones personal status.  Today many that attend church have a false pride in their congregation and pastor believing they have a truth that no one else knows or they are more godly in their works compared to others.   PRIDE.

Let me tell you a story about one of the earliest churches known to mankind.   The High Priest was an awesome, loving leader full of wisdom and life.  His worship leader was hand picked just for the job of leading praise and musical performances for all to enjoy.  This leader was talking to the High Priest and had a personal relationship with Him.   I heard this was the largest church ever created in both congregation and understanding of spiritual truth.

This worship leader was created by God with special abilities and talents  just so he could lead worship and reflect the glory of the Lord in the temple.  As this worship leader was serving daily, walking and talking with many true believers and faithful priests, he decided he should lead the church and wanted to overthrow the leaders. He deceived  1/3 of the whole congregation to rally behind him because he believed he was better than the other leaders and felt he could do better than the High Priest. So he rebelled and caused a church split that lasted even to this time today.

Who was this super-spiritual person? Lucifer also known as Satan. Isaiah 14:12 How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! 13 For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: 14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.

So what are fruits of pride? John 8:44″ Jesus said You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies.” Prideful people lack integrity, are selfish and will kill others dreams so that their own personal desires prevail.

PRIDE IS RUNNING WILD IN OUR CHURCHES TODAY. BUT THERE IS HOPE!

2 Chronicles 7:14 if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land. Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. 12 Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. 13 And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart. 14 I will be found by you, says the Lord, and I will bring you back from your captivity; I will gather you from all the nations and from all the places where I have driven you, says the Lord, and I will bring you to the place from which I cause you to be carried away captive.

HUMILITY SETS THE CAPTIVE FREE FROM PRIDE!

Proverbs 11:2  When pride comes, then comes shame; But with the humble is wisdom.

Proverbs 29:23 A man’s pride will bring him low, But the humble in spirit will retain honor.

James 4:6 But He gives more grace. Therefore He says: “God resists the proud, But gives grace to the humble.”

Listening Helps Us Discern Truth

Listening to others provides discernment into their lives including their passions, areas of pain and desires of their hearts. When we truly listen to others it becomes clearer what they believe and why. Research has shown that verbal communication conveys information while nonverbal body language conveys attitudes, emotions and even statements. (Heb 5:14 ESV) “ But solid food is for the mature, for those who have their powers of discernment trained by constant practice to distinguish good from evil.”

Discern the truth by studying the persons true motivations and desires so you can perceive the direction of their hearts. Jesus (Yeshua) tells us in Matthew 15:18″But the things that come out of a person’s mouth come from the heart, and these defile them.” WOW! Psalm 5:9″Not a word from their mouth can be trusted; their heart is filled with malice. Their throat is an open grave; with their tongues they tell lies.” Psalm 17:3 “Though you probe my heart, though you examine me at night and test me, you will find that I have planned no evil; my mouth has not transgressed.” Proverbs 16:23″The hearts of the wise make their mouths prudent, and their lips promote instruction.” So how should we be? Psalm 19:14 “May these words of my mouth and this meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, LORD, my Rock and my Redeemer.”

When it comes to your spiritual “ears” we are to guard our minds and our hearts to what we listen to.  The type of music with lyrics do they honor God or man?  Do we read lustful books or the Holy Bible?  What we put into our bodies is what we start behaving like.  Same as our church and pastors, do they preach about Jesus Christ or do they use Jesus for their own personal fame?  John warns us to discern where we learn by holding them to Jesus in 1 John 4:1 “Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world. This is how you can recognize the Spirit of God: Every spirit that acknowledges that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, but every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming and even now is already in the world.   You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world. They are from the world and therefore speak from the viewpoint of the world, and the world listens to them. We are from God, and whoever knows God listens to us; but whoever is not from God does not listen to us. This is how we recognize the Spiritof truth and the spirit of falsehood.”

Jesus (Yeshua) saidin the New Testament many times that He and God are One.   That He came to do the Father’s business and He spoke unto the orthodox Jewish faith calling Himself, the I AM.   This type of speech was considered blasphemes among the Pharisees and one of the real reasons they wanted to crucify Him.   Now understand this, the Pharisees knew the bible better than most of us today, including me.  They practiced the law and lived a holier life than we can even imagine, yet they did not recognize the Messiah.   Why did they become so upset at Jesus for saying “I AM…”   Listen to what Jesus said in His own words from the Book of John that spoke of His divinity with God the Father.

“I am the bread of life; he who comes to Me shall not hunger.” John 6:35

“I am the light of the world; he who fallows Me shall not walk in the darkness, but shall have the light of life.” John 8:12

“I am the gate; if anyone enters through Me, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.” John 10:9

“I am the good shepherd; the good shepherd lays down His life for His sheep.” John 10:11

“I am the resurrection and the life; he who believes in Me shall live even if he dies.” John 11:25

“I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father, but through Me.” John 14:6

“I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser.” John 15:1

The real key is what did the Holy Spirit reveal to others about who Jesus is.   Matthew 16:15″Jesus said to them, “But who do you say that I am?”  16 Simon Peter answered and said, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”  17 Jesus answered and said to him, “Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father who is in heaven. 18 And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it. 19 And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.”

These are not the words of a coward who wanted to get along with everybody and not rock the boat.  Jesus was slapping the religious hypocrites right in their face publicly.   Jesus more than once called the Pharisees and religous leaders hypocrites and lets look at these to understand why these false teachers were upsetting to God. Matthew 23:13 “But woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you shut up the kingdom of heaven against men; for you neither go in yourselves, nor do you allow those who are entering to go in.”

Therefore, when you do a charitable deed, do not sound a trumpet before you as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory from men. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward”  Matthew 6:5 “And when you pray, you shall not be like the hypocrites. For they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the corners of the streets, that they may be seen by men. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward.”  Matthew 6:16 ““Moreover, when you fast, do not be like the hypocrites, with a sad countenance. For they disfigure their faces that they may appear to men to be fasting. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward.

Today, many churches and denominations have lost touch with the true Messiah and have created a church that wants the sensual blessings of God.  These churches teach false doctrines of prosperity, faith without works and you are owed by God because of your rightful inheritance helps fill the seats of the sanctuary.

However, like the Pharisee and religious leaders of old, they have removed the true HOLINESS and power of God from their sermons.  Their pride has them believing they know more than others and instead of hearing Jesus say, “I AM… these false teachers are stating “I AM the spokesperson for God….”  They sprinkling their messages with hope and love of all mankind without any regards to the effects of sin and repentance unto salvation.   GOD IS HOLY.   JESUS CAME BECAUSE A SACRIFICE WAS NEEDED TO RESTORE AN UNHOLY MAN TO A HOLY GOD.

As believers, we are to grow in maturity that imitates Jesus and become righteous through obedience.  This is why Abraham’s obedience was counted unto righteousness.  Jesus even said in Matthew 5:20 “For I say to you, that unless your righteousness exceeds the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven.”   James 2:20″But do you want to know, O foolish man, that faith without works is dead?

-IN OTHER WORDS JESUS DECLARED WHAT GOD SAID “TELL THEM I AM HAS SENT ME TO YOU!

Only through true repentance and believing in faith in the Son of God (Yeshua/Jesus) can you be saved.

I AM!    Think about this statement of the name of God given to Moses and spoken by Christ.   I AM, this is a statement of true power, that there is no other God before Him.  I AM everywhere and created everything.   I AM all knowing and there is nothing that can escape His understanding.   I AM is an ever present God at each moment forever and ever.

We Hear What We Want To Hear

Buddha said “Whatever words we utter should be chosen with care for people will hear them and be influenced by them for good or ill”  Confucius states “I hear, I know. I see, I remember. I do, I understand”  In Mark 4:9 “Then Jesus (Yeshua) said, “Whoever has ears to hear, let them hear.”   After Jesus gave a story about what you sow is what you reap, His disciples asked him, what did you say?  What was your meaning behind the words that we heard?

Often, our own experiences, emotions, situations and attitudes interprets what we hear so that we only hear what we want to hear and ignore that which does not fit our own agenda, feelings or beliefs.  But the truth is still the truth and will remain the truth no matter how you wish to receive it.

Listening involves getting our own attitudes and emotions into the right frame of mind to hear what the other person is truly saying. If your mindset is negative and hopelessness all you will get is negativity and hurt. That is why it is so important to stay in a positive frame of mind, so that when you listen, you can be objective. Philippians 4:7 “And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. 8 Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. 9 Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.”

David tells Solomon in 1 Chronicles 28:9 “And you, my son Solomon, acknowledge the God of your father, and serve him with wholehearted devotion and with a willing mind, for the LORD searches every heart and understands every desire and every thought. If you seek him, he will be found by you; but if you forsake him, he will reject you forever.”

The truth is clear, it is our interpretation that creates the confusion, trying to listen without accepting our own limitations, immaturity or lack of compassion.   We close off our minds and tune out conversations that do not give us what we think we want.   To grow in grace and mercy will often require us to change our thoughts, actions and desires to imitate Christ Jesus.   Listening leads to understanding, action and doing leads to change.
TRUTH MAY HURT BUT WE MUST HEAR THE TRUTH IF WE ARE TO GROW!
